Saint Lucy Icon - Stages

Me too! I will probably attempt this icon again. The panel ended up "bowing" when I was done painting. The Saint Barb was a thicker panel and did not bow. So now I know what to use and what not to use for panel thickness. Also someone recommended I try painting on those clay boards you can find in craft stores. It is tempting esp if I want my gold leaf to look smooooooth without the effort and time put into the gesso-ing.
